How does he get away with it? In 2001, Dick Cheney claimed he didn’t have to turn over documents to Congress by claiming Executive Privilege. An abuse of the power, but ok, the Constitution as I know it puts the Vice President in the Executive Branch. Now this month, Cheney is refusing to comply with an executive order by claiming that since he is the President of the Senate, he is not a member of the Executive Branch, but instead a member of the Legislative and thus doesn’t have to comply with that either. Wait…. WHAT!? So he’s a member of BOTH yet NEITHER branch? Dick Cheney is his own branch? What form of twisted logic is this?

I’m setting up a new homepage since all my previous ones have disappeared off the net.  Deciding to have a blog/News front page for the time being.  We’ll see how it goes and if I actually keep up on updating it.  I intend to, but have never been very good at it, and I probably won’t have any readers/commenters anyway.  If I’m wrong, feel free to comment, give me ideas, contact me, etc.
