Rename Digital Photos

Namexif™ is a tool to automatically rename photos with the date they were shot. Digital cameras have their own clock and record the date to each photos with a precision of a second. Since the date and time is recorded for each photos (provided it is an EXIF compliant digital camera), Namexif™ is able to rename these photos according to the date. Doing so will:

  • make chronological order same as alphabetical one,
  • set a unique name to your photos
  • This is not so useful if you painstakingly rename all your photos as you take them off the camera, but very few people have that time or willpower.  This will at least help you organize your photos by knowing when they were taken at a glance of the filename.

    Google Maps Now Has Weather

Enjoy Google Maps? Well it just became more useful.

Go over to Google Maps, click the My Maps Tab, and select The Weather Channel.

You can now have the radar or cloud cover overlayed onto the map.

There are also little bubbles in certain locations showing current conditions and temperatures that you can click on for more details. Just another way Google Maps is useful and fun.

    Paid to View Ads.

    How does it work?

You view websites in 30 second sessions via the “Surf Ads” page. Once the 30 seconds is up, you’ll either get a green tick sign or a red ‘X’. The green tick sign means you’ve earned $0.01 and as premium member $0.0125 for the visit and the ‘X’ means you have not earned money for the visit. You’ll get red X’s when you have more than one website from the “Surf Ads” page open. When this happens, you get no credit.

Unlike other paid advertising sites, this one does not show you ads while you surf.  This one has also been proven to work (at least for the moment).  I know people that have received their money already.

    How do I get paid?
If you have at least $10.00 accumulated, you can click on your account balance within your stats area and it will submit your request. Currently, we only make payments via PayPal. We will soon be using other methods of payment.

    When do I get paid?
You can request for payment once you’re account balance is at least $10.00. Your payment will be processed and issued via PayPal within 30 business days for premium and 60 business days for standard members. You can only request one payment at the time.

Even if you’re not sure you’ll stick with it, I suggest at least signing up and giving it a few minutes of your time to try.
