I often recommend free versions of AVG and even BitDefender.  Apparently now CA wants to attract more customers and is so giving away their Anti-Virus 2009 with a 1 year subscription.  While AVG and BitDefender aren’t limited to a single year, I do know some that like CA’s Anti-Virus and will be happy to get their 1 year free.
