Toyota has just announced it's planning on adding solar panels to some of their Hybrid Prius cars. The panels won't power everything, but it's a start.

U.S. Embassy Construction in Iraq
The massive U.S. embassy under construction in Baghdad could cost $144 million more than projected $592 million and will open months behind schedule because of poor planning, shoddy workmanship, internal disputes and last-minute changes sought by State Department officials. Thats about $2.45 from every man woman and child in the US. thats for ONE project.

In a country without reliable water, food, security, etc... should this REALLY be such a high priority and bill?

Not really sure how they're planning on enforcing this new law, but the goal seems to be to allow China to decide who the next Dali Lama will be. Yeah.... good luck with that China.
